Recycling League – Pimbo

I rode the Recycling League RR on Pimbo with Bradie riding the 3/4/j race yesterday in typical July weather, rain and a very cold wind!

A rider jumped from the gun and with the weather been so bad and no one reacted so I went after him. About 2 miles later 4 more riders came across and the break was set. The bunch stayed at around 20 seconds behind for the next 10 miles but then we started pulling clear. We started attacking each other with about 15 miles to go and about 8 miles to go I went clear with Chris Waters.

We rode together to the finish and as I can’t win sprints to save my life he beat me by ½ a bike length. With all the league points I picked up during the race and result I have moved back into the lead in the league overall.
