John Cull Memorial Road Race

The sun was out for the 4th cats John Cull Memorial Road Race run over 50 miles on the Bickerstaffe circuit, West Derby.

Deeside were represented by Ian Edwards, Malcolm Ridgway and Mark Jones, all in their fist season of racing, with extra vocal support provided by Charlie with Amanda providing the photographs.

It was your typical 4th cats race with no-one strong enough to break away and no-one wanting to work as a group to get away. Any attacks were covered and the only real break was chased down (organised by Mark and Ian) within a couple of miles.

All the Deeside riders finished in the bunch with Mark Jones showing some good aggression in the bunch sprint to finish the highest Deeside rider in 10th place.
