Frank Morgan Memorial RR

On Sunday, again in very wet conditions, I rode the Frank Morgan Memorial.

As the whole under 23 Great Britain team where there I new a break would go with enough of them in. After about 5 miles I attacked taking 2 of them with me, we where then joined by 6 more riders including one more from GB.

The group of 9 rode well to build a 3 minute lead. Not wanting to wait for a sprint I attacked with 6 miles to go taking one GB rider with me, Matt Brammeier. We initially worked together but with about 2 miles to go when we where lapping the bunch Matt Brammeier's 2 team mates where chasing after us alone so he sat on. As I couldn't work out exactly where they where as they hadn't pulled the bunch out I had to ride all the way to the finish giving Matt the sprint easily.
