Birkenhead Vics 25m Club TT

Only a handful of riders turned up in atrocious conditions to ride the vics club 25mile T.T. on Sunday morning. Representing Deeside Olympic for the first time was Steve Thompson

Facing two laps of the Rosset by-pass, where the riders struuggled to kep their bikes upright in winds gusting upto 50mph, Pete Davies B.H.N.E.CC. (normally an under the hour man) won the race with a 1hr 4mins 48secs. Steve came in second with a very respectable 1hr 8min 28secs.
