Recycling League, Elswick

Andy Martin, Steve Lloyd and myself rode the Recycling League event on the Elswick circuit on Sunday.

On the second lap of 8, Andy got away with 2 other riders, but the group only ever got 30 seconds lead. After they had been caught, after another 2 laps, I attacked with Mike Harrison and we were eventually joined by 6 others. The windy exposed course meant the group stayed together to the finish and I finished 4th in the sprint. Steve and Andy finished in the bunch, out of the placings.
