Merseyside Wheelers Road Race

Simon Oliver, Stephen Bradbrook, Ian Edwards, Mark Jones and myself rode the Merseyside Wheelers Road Race - 20 laps of the 3.5km Pimbo circuit.

Simon was involved in an early break, with 7 riders going clear after about 7/ 8 laps. The break split with about 4 laps remaining, with 3 riders staying clear to contest the victory.

The remaining riders finished in a sprint, with Braddy getting an excellent 8th place overall. The rest of us finished safely in the bunch - unlike some poor fella who sprinted into the back of a parked car. Ouch!
