SIS Crit Preston

After getting 4th last week at Preston and knowing my form was coming back after hitting the floor in the Welsh Champs I went back up to Preston going for the win. Seeing a few of the Recycling’s riding it wasn’t going to be easy.

After a couple of laps of jumping about I got away with Evan Oliphant of Recycling, we weren’t away long when we got pulled back and Ben Greenwood of Recycling went, I jumped after him and some Junior got on. Me and Ben were pulling ½ lap turns each the Junior said he couldn’t come through and as we were riding around 30 mph I left him there, it stayed like this all race. We took our foot of the gas with about 1 lap left and got this lad through. Going into the last bend I was 3rd wheel and the other race which we had just lapped for the 2nd time started sprinting round as, the junior kicked out the band and hung on by about ½ a wheel form me with Ben getting 3rd.

So to conclude my road rash has nearly gone and I have got some form again and without letting the lad sit on all night thinking he wouldn’t have the b*llocks to sprint having done Jack all night I would have won.
