The Deeside Veeboard riders where out in force for this event on a dry mild Good Friday morning.

After feeling a bit under par over the last two weekends I finally felt like the form was coming today.

I won the event with a time of 48.04 for the undulating 21.17 miles, Alan Connor clocked 51.51 just slightly faster than Steve Lloyd who recorded 51.59. These three times combined where good enough to win the team prize.

Chris Hughes (my big brother) riding his first open time trial at the age of 47 recorded a superb time of 54.16 which i think you will agree with me is an excellent ride considering he has only been riding the bike seriously for just over 18 months. Steve Thompson came away feeling dissapointed recording a time of 59.48, a bad day at the office for him!
